On September 21st, activists joined together in house party trainings all over the country to learn the fundamentals of grassroots action, including tools for volunteer recruitment and direct voter outreach.

 

House party trainings took place in 32 states...

 

 

This was a great opportunity for progressives around the country to learn how we can work together to win in the short term while building an infrastructure for long-term success.

Through an innovative combination of a video training, live conference call with a national expert, and small group interactive exercises, the house party trainings provided participants with the tools for implementing successful grassroots mobilization, including:

  • What grassroots organizing is and why it is important
  • How we can effectively engage people to drive our efforts
  • Effective tools for recruiting volunteers and talking to voters
  • Connecting activists from different communities
  • Ways to get involved and make a difference this fall

The CPL Action Network is helping activists gain the skills to build a long-term base for the progressive movement.
