Thank you for signing up to host a house party training for the upcoming National Grassroots Mobilization Training. There are hundreds of progressives like you who are hosting House Party Trainings across the country.

Below is everything you need to be a successful host on September 21st. These pages are designed to give you all the information you need and additional resources to help you gain a better understanding of the material covered in the training.

The first step in being a host is reading through the information that we have for you. That includes:

What You Need for the Training

• Your Responsibilities - This is the most important information you'll have as a host. It explains everything you need to know on the night of the training and what you need to do to be an effective host.
• Guest Packets - On the actual evening of the training, you're going to need to provide your participants with small training packets. You can download them here.
• The Training Video - Most of you will receive your training DVD this week. If you selected to download the training video or did not receive your DVD, click here to download the training video directly.

Additional Resources

• Invite People to your House Party Training - As a host, you have the option of recruiting participants for your house party. If you are interested, we have some tools that you can use to spread the word about your event.
• Share Pictures from the Night! - We would love to have you take photographs of your house party! We have created a group with Flickr, an online tool for storing photographs. You can share all the photos of your house party by uploading them to our joint account and see all the pictures from the other parties!
• The Goals of the Training - In preparation for the evening, we have some resources available that will help you understand what "earned media" is and the goals of the training.
• Groups Involved - Check out our list of groups involved in this training.

Their information is available in the confirmation email you received. They know everything you need to be a host and can answer all your questions.
