Future National Network Trainings
Quotes from Participants in Past Network Trainings:
"You showed that progressives can start at the most grassroots level and work toward change. That’s a big help”
“It was interesting and useful to meet with people from other communities who are interested in different campaigns.”
“The best thing was that this program brought together people from several counties, each of whom participates in their own local progressive group. While we often send e-mails across county lines, we have seldom had a non-campaign function that drew in so many from other places. That indicates strong interest and it was refreshing to see new faces.” |
Throughout 2008, the Center for Progressive Leadership Action
Network will be running a series of nation-wide house party
trainings designed to develop the core skills of progressive
activists and organizers across the country.
The trainings are an innovative combination of video training, conference call, and small group interactives that not only help develop the skills of progressives but provide an opportunity for activists and organizers from different campaigns, organizations, and communities to come together.
Potential topics throughout the rest of the year include:
- Voluntee Recruitment
- Grassroots Leadership
- Voter Mobilization
- Get Out the Vote
